Dubbed films in demand!

The demand for dubbed films seems to have grown. In fact, it is this demand that has prompted the dubbing of several Telugu films in Tamil.
The latest film to be dubbed from Telugu is Pokkiri Paiyaa, which is the Tamil version of the Telugu superhit Kantri.
Kantri, which featured Junior NTR and Hansika Motwani in the lead, was a big hit in the neighbouring state of Andhra Pradesh.
Ramesh Meher, who wrote and directed Om Shakthi, the Tamil version of the Telugu film featuring Junior NTR - Ileana starrer, is the director of Pokkiri Paiyaa too.
If one is to go by what sources in the industry have to say, the trend of dubbing other language films in Tamil is here to stay, at least for a while!
