Deepika turns item girl for South

After a sensuous item number in Dum Maaro Dum, Deepika Padukone will now be seen doing an item number in a Telugu film called ‘Theenmaar’.
Deepika who has done South films early in her career got an offer from her Telugu director friend Jayant Paranji. Interestingly his film ‘Theenmaar’ is the Telugu remake of Deepika-Saif Ali Khan’s superhit film ‘Love Aaj Kal’.
The actress however is excited to be part of remake of her own Hindi film.According to a unit-hand, Deepika has already shot the foot-tapping item number in Hyderabad. Composed by music director Mani Sharma this item number is expected to be a superhit in Telugu this year.
‘Theenmaar’ stars Pawan Kalyan and Trisha in lead roles.
