Billa 2 isn’t Ajith’s 51sth film!

A lot has been said and written about Ajith’s 51st film Billa 2.
It was earlier reported that the actor, after the completion of his 50th film Mankatha, will start his ambitious Billa 2. The actor had also fallen out with the prequel Billa director Vishnuvardhan as he had no time to shoot the sequel.
Ajith had then considered roping in a different director and go solo with the sequel.It’s been reported that superstar was eager on making Billa 2 and in fact wanted the film to be his 51st project. However, there’s a twist in the tale.
Industry sources have it that an all new project has caught Ajith’s fantasy. A source revealed, “Ajith’s Mankatha is nearing completion and while everybody is expecting Thala to start Billa 2 next, there is something else that has put the actor in two minds. Ajith had been approached by directed Jayam Raja with a brilliant script and Ajith seems to have loved it.”
Now speculations are that Thala may put Billa 2 on hold for now and go ahead with Jayam Raja’s film. Now, only time will tell if Billa 2 or some other film becomes Ajith’s 51st.
