Bhavana wants to be a hero

Actress Bhavana is pleased with the way her career is shaping up as she is getting several offers from the southern film industries.
But she isn’t ready to accept all of them. “I get offers to play the same kind of roles. I can’t reject all the offers, but I feel that I’m being typecast,” says she. What sort of role would she prefer to play?
“I want to play characters like Angelina Jolie and Jodie Foster do.But such characters will never be created in this industry because it’s dominated by men. I want to be the hero of a movie. I want to do what men do on-screen: smoke, drink and fight, she asserts. Bhavana also maintains that she will never give up acting.
“There are some actresses who work on a couple of films, then suddenly vanish, but are back in 10 years. But I wouldn’t like to be away from the big screen for long. Even if I get married, I will not give up acting. I want to be an evergreen actress,” she says.
