Ashwin's bold move!

It takes great courage on the part of an artist to play the role of a transgender.
And Ashwin, who made his debut in Kollywood with Thankar Bachchan’s Onbadhu Rubai Nottu, seems to have been committed to the cause of playing the role of a transgender in Narthaki, which hit screens recently.
Says the youngster , “I read a couple of books and observed transgenders . In fact, my dad, who gave up his job as a water treatment engineer in Muscat to help me realize my dreams of getting into cinema, got a few transgenders to come home, so I could observe their behaviour and thereby, play this role to perfection.”
Now, that’s what we call a laudable effort!
