Mollywood director Amal Neerad’s film Anwar is going places. The critically acclaimed director is on a high ever since he signed up to have the film dubbed in Telugu. The music release of the movie will be held in Hyderabad next week.
The clincher of the deal, sources say, had to do with the impressive and rather popular cast. “Actors like Prithviraj, Mamta Mohandas and Prakash Raj are popular faces across all the southern industries.
That’s the reason why we decided to dub this film in other languages as well,” admits the director.
Incidentally, the film has already hit the screens in its Tamil version and is known to have fared rather well. Loosely based on the Hollywood flick Traitor, Anwar talks about the life of a youngster who dares to move into a terrorist outfit for revenge.
