An unforgettable evening for Madhavan

It was a dinner that Maddy is unlikely to forget soon. When the actor was shooting in Pondicherry recently for his upcoming Tamil film Vettai, he decided to drop in for dinner at his friend and actress Ayesha Kapoor’s house.
“I worked with her in my Bollywood flick Sikandar,” says the actor about Ayesha, who shot to fame with a sterling performance in the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Black.
Her house was a source of astonishment for both Maddy and Arya, who play important roles in the Lingusamy film that’s being shot now. “It was a huge house that had a lot of animals, including cats, turtles and snakes! Also, Ayesha has a superb stable and has about 25 horses,” says the actor, who loves animals, “We (Arya and I) spent a lot of time just gazing at them. And the dinner at the house was, well, a super ‘vettai’ for both of us!”
So, how’s Vettai coming along? “Very well,” quips Maddy, “We’re having a whale of a time shooting it.”
