Amala Paul’s date with trouble!

Despite striking gold at the BO, the actress continues to court controversies.
While Amala Paul is rising fast in K-Town these days, controversies too aren’t far behind the actress. The latest about the actress, who is tipped to be Simbu’s next heroine in National Award winning director Vetri Maaran’s next film, is that she’s increasingly being known as ‘controversy’s favourite child.’ It looks like the actress’ step into Tollywood is causing problems for her in Tamil.While her decision to not do Dhanush’s 3 surprised industry insiders, her public appearances with Deiiva Thirumagal director Vijay and reports that she had allegedly been taken out for a test drive in his highend car sparked off rumours that the two were an ‘item’.
Meanwhile, there were also reports that she was acting pricey and being less cooperative for the final schedule of Vettai. Later, director Lingusamy clarified that there were date issues because she was busy with her Telugu flick and the actress finally managed to adjust her dates for his film.
But all this isn’t stopping Amala from striving to get to the big league in tinseltown. Besides the Arya-Maddy starrer, the actress — who is currently in the US to shoot for Muppozhuthum Un Karapanaigal with Atharva — also has Siddharth’s bilingual Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi and her first Tollywood film (produced by Ram Gopal Varma) Bejawada opposite Naga Chaitanya on hand.
