Ad-vantage, Kolkata!

Director Pradeep Sarkar was in town to shoot a commercial with Tollywood’s hot pair — Dev and Subhashree.
The Bengali commercial is supposed to be a surprise package and will be beamed only after a couple of months. Till then, the client has left strict instructions not to reveal any details. CT spoke to the director and the actors on the thrill of working together
Dev
It was a pleasure working with a director of Pradeep Sarkar’s stature.He made me feel completely at ease. This is my first commercial and I hope I can live up to his expectations. However, I am contract-bound and can’t divulge the details of the project.
Pradeep Sarkar
I am in Kolkata shooting for an ad with Dev and Subhashree. It was my client’s decision to shoot this campaign with Dev and Subhashree. Before I did this ad, I had no idea about who these two actors were. But having worked with them, I must say they are good. Even as human beings, they came across as nice
people. They are young and vibrant. The ad requires me to shoot in Kolkata for two days. I will be returning to Mumbai on Friday. As far as my next film is concerned, scripting is in progress. But, I shall not be able to reveal details about this film. It might or might not be shot in Kolkata.
Subhashree
It is a dream-come-true to have worked with Pradeep Sarkar. Cinematographer N Natarajan Subramaniam made me look like an angel. Apart from a private club, we have also shot at the Lahabari and on the ghats.
