Neil is just 2-km-long and 3-km-wide; and the crew had to travel by ship for more than two hours from the capital city of cto reach the island.
The team of 45, which included actors Nedumudi Venu, Indrajith, Prithviraj and Amala Paul, stayed on the island for 25 days at a stretch. “We stayed in the bamboo huts located on the beach. The only means of transport there was cycles. It was difficult to move all the equipment required for the shoot each day, but the evenings made up for all the effort.
