Punjabi Actress Daljeet Kaur breathes her last in Sudhar of Ludhiana

LUDHIANA: Known for her roles in Punjabi movies like “Mamla Gadbad Hai, Ki Banoo Duniya Da, Sarpanch, Patola”, the popular actress Daljeet Kaur (69) breathed her last at Sudhar in Ludhiana in the wee hours of Thursday. Her close ones shared that she had been bed ridden for last around six to seven years and died at the house of her nephew.

41 years old Harjinder Singh Khangura, nephew of the deceased who runs a gym at Sudhar market, told The Times of India that his aunt breathed her last at 3.30 am on Thursday and her dead body was cremated at Sudhar cremation ground at around 2 pm. He added that her aunt was suffering from Dementia for long and she had been living with them for more than 12 years.

Nephew of the deceased said that Daljeet Kaur would go to meet her sister Uma Kumari who lived in Noida but for last around six to seven years she was bed ridden and was undergoing treatment. He added that such a lady wouldn’t be borne in this world and she was very humble and nice lady.

Harjinder Singh said that his aunt would share with them the good memories of her era (in Film industry) and was happy about those.
