Music as language

Our very first question to Aastha Gill was what music means to you, and she had the sweetest reply to it. “For me, music is a language to emote and express what I feel, and everyone feels. It is the most beautiful language to express emotions. It goes beyond words, beyond everything,” said Aastha.

The song that makes you feel relaxed

“‘Lag Ja Gale’ definitely relaxes me and is the one song I go to whenever I am feeling low or happy that song fits in everywhere. From its lyrics to its music to Lata Ji’s voice; everything about this song is musical. Also, I don’t think there exists anyone on the face of the earth who can say otherwise about the song,” said Aastha when asked about one song that makes her feel relaxed.

Celebrating World Music Day

Last but not least, when asked how she plans to celebrate World Music Day, the singer said, “I feel because of our hectic lifestyle, and daily hustle, we as musicians consume less music. But I will make sure that this week while celebrating World Music Day, I will consume more music, listen to different artists, and dive into the sea of music.”
