In an unusual spin on music, musician,

The Kidd

experimented with

flute

in his latest song, 'Kahani Dil Di'. Sung by

Varinder Brar

, the song is a sad love ballad, the video of which has been directed by Teji Sandhu. The song is about a gangster falling in love with a girl and reforming in his ways because of her. However, when the girl is killed by his rivals, the gangster goes on a revenge seeking spree, killing his girlfriend's killers. What is interesting is how Kidd has exploited the use of flute to harness the magic of the

sad genre

in music.

Commenting on this influence, the musician shares, "As flute adds flavour to the sad genre, we have used live flute sounds in the song instead of sample sound. We completed the song in just 2-3 days.” One of the newest and youngest kids on the

Punjabi music

production scene, Kidd has given the music for Singer Prem Dhillon’s famous songs ‘Liv In’ and R-Nait’s ‘855’, besides giving music for two songs in Diljit Dosanjh's latest album

G.O.A.T.

He adds, "Whenever I work on sad or romantic songs, I mainly focus on sample sounds. As a music producer, I always focus on the sounds while composing the music for sad and romantic songs. It is very important because such songs always depend on the impact left by music and the sounds.” The 21-year-old is working on his upcoming projects with singer, actor Gurnam Bhullar and singer Baani Sandhu.
