Shahid Mallya also expressed grief on the demise of Surekha Sikri and mentioned how she reminded him of his grandmother.

on television used to remind me of my grandmother because she had a homely feel in her Rajasthani style,” said Shahid Mallya in his recent exclusive conversation with ETimes.
“She wasn’t the main protagonist, but she owned the show. Similarly in movies, her character used to have a hold on the audience. Artists like her are not easy to found, and thus, when we lose them the pain is unbearable,” he added.
“Now she is no longer in this world but she is definitely living in our memories. May Allah bless her souls with heaven!
