Sunanda Sharma, who is popular for her songs like 'Jatt Yamla', 'Jaani Tera Naa', 'Pagal Nahi Hona', and 'Chorri Chorri', recently performed at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. However, the event turned into chaos when a fan jumped onto the stage, which left her frightened. Now, pictures and videos from the event are going viral on the internet.
Fans jump onto the stage to touch Sunanda Sharma during her performance
In the clips, Sunanda Sharma can be seen donning a white T-shirt and baggy jeans as she performed on stage. The video showed a fan suddenly jumping onto the stage and touching her feet. The singer screamed in fear and quickly walked away mid-performance. The police nabbed the fan on stage and took him away.
According to PunjabNewsLine, the Ghaziabad Police took the fan into custody and questioned him. Reports suggested that the person in question is a student of the same college.
Sunanda was taken aback by the incident and didn't return to the stage. She and her team decided to cancel the show, despite the audience repeatedly requesting her to continue. The students left the venue disappointed.
As of now, Sunanda Sharma has not issued any statement about the incident that took place at the RKGIT.
