Punjabi singer Babbu Maan’s Twitter account gets banned

Today is the birthday of the famous Punjabi singer Babbu Maan. On the one hand where his fans are pouring in love and greetings for the singer, on the other hand, comes shocking news regarding one of his social handles. Babbu Maan’s Twitter account has been banned in India.

A few days ago, Babbu Maan was getting death threats, after which owing to legal demands, the micro-blogging site had to take an action. Maan had more than 2 lakh followers on Twitter.

Earlier also Babbu Maan was given death threats allegedly by the Bambia gang. According to the reports, months after the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala, Maan was threatened to be killed, owing to which the state police increased the security of the singer.
For the unversed, Punjabi singer Babbu Maan is one of the most popular artists in the industry. Since 1999 he has released eight studio albums and six compilation albums. Most of his songs focus on Punjab’s culture and music.
