Actress Pooja Verma has come a long way in the Punjabi industry since her debut with the Punjabi film, ‘Baaz’ with singer, actor, Babbu Maan. The film had hit the theatres on November 14, 2014. Talking about her experience during the shooting, she says, “Baaz was my first film. I just loved the overall experience... Babbu Maan sir and Simerjit sir both were so helpful during the shooting and I still remember there was always a huge crowd of hardcore fans of Babbu Maan at the locations of shoot and promotions. They used to go crazy seeing him and start hooting. At that time, we always surrounded with bouncers. After the release of 'Baaz', people started calling me ‘Dr Noor’ (her character name).”
Pooja says Maan is a wonderful person. "I would love to work with him again, besides getting a fan base because of Maan sir's popularity," she laughs, adding, "I got immense love from Punjabi audience and that is the only reason I got opportunity to work in other Punjabi movies.”
