Mohit's track with Aujla & Swaalina was made before lockdown

B Mohit's

latest track

, '

Thaa Karke

' featuring

Karan Aujla

, who is now in Canada, was actually shot six months ago in March before the lockdown. "My brother Jatin Butani, who has conceptualised the song, approached Karan (Aujla) paaji who agreed to give the rap in the song. That time Karan paaji was in India and we shot the video of the song in Goa at this huge hotel on March 2," Mohit tells us. He adds, "The audio of the song was in fact recorded even before that. But, because of the pandemic, the release got postponed for six months, which is disappointing for an artist. But anyways, it finally released and I am happy with the response it has generated."
The video of the song also features Aujla along with model and actor,

Swaalina

, who has done music videos with

Punjabi singers

, including the likes of Jass Manak's 'Prada, 'Suit Punjabi' and 'Billian Billian'.

The video of the song has been directed by

Rupan Bal

, who used to play mom to famous Canadian comic,

Jus Reign

and is now a popular video director.

Rupan Bal
Says Bal, “To direct a peppy number, you need to make your brain do some exercise. This track has wonderful lyrics and B Mohit's voice suits the video of the song as well. It’s like perfect matrimony.” Adds Mohit, “I am a firm believer in hard work and being true to your audiences. I want to bring them what they love to hear and this song surely falls in that category.
Some of Mohit's previous songs include 'Millions Mashup' and 'Mirror'.
