"But then I got an offer for a film last year and since then I have been working towards that goal. However, currently I am only doing music videos for now," he says.
For his next video on Miss Pooja's track, he is paired opposite Himanshi Khurana. Shooting for the video started in Chandigarh on Tuesday. The track is a love story based in Punjab and has a melodious tune. Amardeep has been shooting for various music videos through the lockdown and modelled for the likes of Nachattar Gill for his song, 'Rooh Uthe Vaar', Kamal Khan's song 'Teri Ho Ke'.
While the Punjabi music industry is famous for roping in pretty female models by the dozen every year for the numerous songs churned out from here, there have been only a handful of male models for videos. Primarily, singers themselves like to play the lead in their own music videos. However, with the likes of the debonair Amardeep having entered the Punjabi industry, that paradigm is set to change.
