“Lata Mangeshkar, you know it is not just a name right. She was an institution of music in herself. They say perfection is a myth, but Lata ji was the epitome of perfection. She was indeed the real and only queen of melodies,” said Kaptaan while talking to ETimes exclusively.
“Her voice was so comforting, we remember listening to 'Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai' on repeat. Even before we could understand the depth of the song, we understood the magic of her voice,” they added reminiscing Lata Ji.
“As saddening as it is that today she isn't among us, at the same time, we all know she is at a better place. May she rest in peace,” concluded Kaptaan.

Bharat Ratan Lata Mangeshkar’s last rites were held in Mumbai on Sunday evening. Paying respect to the late artist, the Government of India announced two days of State mourning.
