The King of Bhangra, Jazzy B has ringing in his 45th birthday today. The artist is one of the most successful singers and famous singers of the Punjabi music world. He is counted among those who are accounted to maximise the range and reach of Punjabi music globally. Thus, today on the special occasion of his birthday, we have compiled a list of his top five chartbusters.

​‘Dil Luteya’

Released in 2005, ‘Dil Luteya’ was one of the much loved and highly lauded songs of Jazzy B.. It’s been more than a decade, and still the hook line of the song ‘Jinhe Mera Dil Luteya… oh ho’ gets everyone grooving and singing in no time. The song is such an amazing track that it was recently revamped and featured in the movie ‘Jawaaani Jaaneman’ as ‘Gallan Kardi’. Though the revamped version has the right amount of pepp and everything, the charm that the original song has is simply unmatched.

​‘Oh Kehri’

Another song that falls in the category of Jazzy B’s ‘old is gold’ list of tracks is ‘Oh Kehri’. Released in 2001, the song is a proper Punjabi bhangra number with the right strokes of urban music that was trending at that time. The video of the track had Bollywood fame Celina Jaitly. It was a flirtatious number but not offensive at all. No wonder that the song even today is loved by one and all.

​‘Naag’

There are a number of Punjabi songs by Jazzy B that people never get bored of listening to on repeat. And ‘Naag’ is one of them. Though the artist released a sequel and threequel of this song, the engagement that the first release brought was unmatched. ‘Naag’ by Jazzy B is simply a playlist staple, as you cannot find any wedding or any celebration especially in North India that doesn’t play this track.

​‘Mitran De Boot’

Talking of Jazzy B’s playlist staples, we cannot miss to mention ‘Mitran De Boot’. It was a duet crooned by Jazzy B and Kaur B, which rocked the music charts right after the release. The video of the track featured the songster, Dr. Zeus and the beautiful Surveen Chawal, and this trio got the audience hooked in no time. ‘Mitran De Boot’ is one of the songs with which Jazzy B lived up to his title of ‘King Of Bhangra’.

​‘Ajj Singh Garejaga’

Jazzy B is mostly known for releasing his tracks as an independent artist, but he has done playback too. And one of his works as a playback singer that garnered him love and appreciation is ‘Ajj Singh Garejega’. The song featured in the Akshay Kumar starrer period drama ‘Kesari’. It was one power packed song by Jazzy B that made his grip over the audience stronger.
