"I'm fortunate to be launched in a popular song by Altaf sir. He has helped me realise my acting dream," says Kajal who is an MBA from Jabalpur, (MP). She adds, "After acquiring this coveted degree I wasn’t happy because showbiz was attracting me. So, I started pursuing my dream of the acting career. And fortunately all my hard work bore fruit and I featured in several ads in Surat. Shortly after, I signed my first song with Altaf Raja."

The actress who has since featured in other music videos says she enjoys working in them. "Music videos allow us to travel to different beautiful places," she laughs, adding, "And this helps you connect with natural beauty. Every time you act in a new song it gives you a fresh feeling, the same feeling you get when you make your debut. And it's a huge challenge to act and narrate a small story in just five mins." Kajal is next eyeing Bollywood. Since she is a music video model, the mention of this genre cannot be complete without talking about Punjabi music videos. "The Punjabi music industry is thriving like never before! It is one of the largest music industries in the world in fact. I would love to do Punjabi videos next and I may be exploring that space already," she says.

." Ask her if she faced bias as an outsider in this industry and she says, "I was aware of the competition that exists in this industry at the outset. So many people come here to become stars, but not everyone can make it. Yes, bias does exist as it does in every industry, but I will keep struggling. "
