Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday launched ‘Apna CM’, a vibrant new song by renowned Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi. The song is composed and sung in the unforgettable, signature style of Daler Mehndi, encapsulating development works and progress made by the state of Haryana under the CM’s leadership.
Speaking at the occasion, the Hon’ble CM also made the announcement of developing a film city in Pinjore.
While reiterating their support for the artists, the Hon’ble CM also said a policy will be developed for film and entertainment as an industry in the state.
Speaking at the song launch, the king of pop Daler Mehndi said, “Over the years, I have seen how much Haryana has developed and is scaling new heights under the CM’s guidance. The song is dedicated to the efforts of him and everyone working under him as the close-knit and warm community Haryana is known to have.”
Dignitaries such as Taran Mehndi, Hobby Dhaliwal, Ashok Masti, Jassi Jasraj, and Sapna Choudhary were among 25 artists present during the song launch event.
