On a 22-day trip to Canada, England and Australia, Punjabi singer Geeta Zaildar is eyeing romantic genre. The singer, having given his voice in a
Punjab film released recently, is excited to do something different. And to add visual appeal, he decided to shoot a song in the picturesque locations of Canada.

Prince said, “The idea behind shooting the video abroad is to make it appealing.
It’s an out-an-out romantic track which will highlight emotions. It took a lot of time to decide on a location.” While Geeta who is right now in the UK will be returning to India soon. Also, Geeta is now looking to explore romantic genre further and with this he’s looking to strike a chord with almost all age groups.
BACK-TO-BACK PROGRAMMESWe hear Geeta’s current three-nation tour had concerts, programmes lined up back-to-back. Starting from Australia (Brisbane) where he performed at Baisakhi Mela with singer Debi Makhsoospuri, Geeta went to Canada. “In Canada he performed at Teeyan festival,” said Prince, adding, “Later, he travelled to England for weekend programmes.”
NO MOVIES, CONCENTRATING ONLY ON SONGSGeeta who loves doing variety of things right now is concentrating on songs, particularly albums or singles. “He’s not looking to do only movies and wants to take his singing expertise further through albums and live acts,” said a source. Right now, he’s not thinking of doing a film as an actor.
