I prefer solos. Duets you have to do, once in a while, after a couple of solos. Both Duets and Solos have their own market. I did duos with singers like
Gurlez Akhtar
, as she is one of the finest artists. It feels amazing to work with her.
Romantic songs or peppy numbers?I like romantic songs, though I don't do much (romantic songs) I love them. And peppy numbers, obviously have commercial value, but personally, I like romantic numbers.
Shooting in India or out of India?I think 90 percent of all my songs have been shot outside of India, only 10 percent have been shot in India. However, I like shooting in India. When I shoot overseas, I usually have my friends around and we do a lot of fun. But in India, the shoot is more professional.
Content based songs or commercial hits?I like content-based songs. You do commercial songs every now and then. But even if you see my catalog, I have more content-based songs, as I have an inclination towards them.
What is your off day like - 'Party Party Party' or 'Chilling at home'?My off days are spent at home. I don't like to go out. It's just that sometimes I go out because of my friends, but I prefer staying at home and chilling; relaxing as much as possible.
