The most vibrant and colorful festival of the year
Holi is today being celebrated by the masses. Everyone is painted in the hues of happiness and celebration. However, Punjabi singer Deep Money is painted in a different shade, as the festival brings back a lot of memories for the artist.
Dipping his toes in the pool of nostalgia, Deep in his exclusive conversation with us expressed, “I remember splashing water on my school friends while my way back home from school.
Holi was that one festival that I always waited for as a child.”
“We didn’t care about getting tanned while playing Holi; no colour seemed too harsh for the skin, no sweet too unhealthy, no work too important that would stop us from celebrating the festival. However, eventually, after years when the responsibilities increased, we could barely spare some time to play Holi,” he added.
Being on stage is no less than a festivalIn the conversation, we also asked Deep about his Holi plans this year. “I have no plans as such. I have concerts to attend on the day of Holi,” he replied.
“As an artist, I hold the highest regard for my work, and for me being in a studio or on the stage is no less than a festival,” concluded Deep Money.
