Daler Mehndi, Master Saleem grieve Narendra Chanchal's passing away

singer, Narendra Chanchal passed away in Delhi this afternoon. Born and raised in Amritsar, Chanchal, 80 was famous for singing in the devotional songs genres as he gave numerous religious songs and bhajans. He was also a popular for performing at live events at jagratas and other religious gatherings of significance. He had also rendered songs as Bollywood playback in films like Bobby when he sang 'Beshak Mandir Masjid Todo' and the iconic religious track 'Chalo Bulava Aaya Hai' from the film, 'Avtaar'. Chanchal was also awarded with the he Filmfare Award for Best Male Singer for 'Bobby'.
