doing social work recently. Says Rhythm,“I decided to use the platform of of my NGO to help those in need during the pandemic. I rallied around like -minded people and started a campaign to distribute essential items to those who were in dire need. We are distributing masks and sanitizers by following all safety precautions to the underprivileged. I also created an online campaign to focus on the mental health in these trying times, as this is the need of the hour. This is being done by spreading positive messages through social media. Not just this, my initiative is also reaching out to rural people and providing them with the opportunity of an extra income by teaching them how to make home-made masks to fight COVID 19.”
The campaign, spearheaded by Rhythm, reached out to children from Patiala’s Deaf & Dumb School and also spread out to Moga district in Punjab and Mohali, besides Pune and Delhi.
