B Praak’s wife Meera Bachan shares the story of losing her second son; Says, “Every day is painful”
On June 10, 2022, B Praak and Meera Bachan lost their second child Fazza. Their son couldn’t survive after his birth despite the doctors’ efforts. Tomorrow will be the first death anniversary of Fazza and one can not even begin to imagine the pain and grief that Meera and B Praak must be going through. Their wounds have turned fresh again, and perhaps that is why close to the first death anniversary of her son, grieving mother Meera Bachan shared the story of how she a piece of her heart, her son. She shared a picture on her handle that reads - “It does not escape my mind that one morning I woke up and I never woke up as that woman again.” Along with the same, she wrote her entire story from 9th June 2022 to 10th June 2022.
This is how it began
Meera Bachan wrote on her social media, “A year ago, I woke up Uncurling from my sleep, my hand traveled down to touch my belly to feel my baby and his kicks. With sheer joy, I got ready as my scan was due, and I went to see my little baby on the screen. So beautiful that I told my doc, am not going without seeing his face also, I need a picture of his face please, she smiled and said both your kids never showed their face Meera, never did Adabb nor this one,”
“So I clearly remember the excitement of my 2nd baby’s arrival anytime soon. With all the preps going back home and me dealing with early contractions made me a little calm and on rest (minding that it can never be a complete bed rest as advised coz I had my toddler to take care too).”
The next morning
Meera shared how things changed drastically when all of a sudden she felt unbearable pain on her left side. She went to the hospital for the scan and before she could make sense of anything, she was numb.
“Next morning I woke up and my life flipped 360 degrees. Shooting pain on the left side made me feel I will die any second, with keeping myself quiet because my son and husband were sleeping, I quietly went to the other room and screamed out of pain for minutes realizing this won’t stop. Called my doc she said to come to the hospital right now. The moment I reached the hospital they took me to the scanning room, and that one simple neck moment changed my life completely (Sorry Meera) that’s all I heard .. everything went blank and I was numb, I lost my senses and a complete vision,” she shared.
“There was a heavy morning ahead of me that I could yet imagine. All I heard was everyone using words like “Blood bank, reports, epidural, OT etc. And me only praying even after hearing Sorry, that please God don’t take my child away, please please went on,” she added.
10th June 2022
Meera was told to hold her breath and not lose hope. The prayers didn’t stop even for a minute, but the heartbeat of the infant did.
All done, operation done, baby in NICU, so much happening around me, and after coming back to my senses the Mama starts praying again, please my baby should be fine please,10th June 2022, finally, I see my husband, No answer just one thing they are trying��, don’t worry you are strong .. She’s strong; The most strongest woman we know. Strong strong again strong. Finally, the strong Mama came to terms that her baby is resting in peace ����️”
Only a mother knows the pain of not holding her child in her arms
Coming to terms with the demise of someone can never be easy for anyone, but one can not even begin to imagine the pain of a mother who cannot have her kid in her arms in her embrace. “The strong mama ,strong daughter , strong wife knows, that only a mother who has lost her child will know what it takes to not have her baby in her arms. Everyday is painful��️��,” concluded Meera Bachan.
