Surekha Sikri. Though she has left the mortal world, her memories are very much alive in our hearts. Perhaps that is why while reminiscing the late actress, singer
Ayush Talniya
said, “some people leave a mark on your life by simply being a part of it. Her presence on both small and big screens made her a part of our lives, a part that we can never forget.”
“Surekha Sikri ji’s work is engraved in my memories, right from my most favourite role of hers in ‘Balika Vadhu’ to her recent role in ‘Badhaai Ho’. She was a superb actress and would be highly missed,” he added.
“Also, in situations like these, we really run short of words, not because we don’t have anything to say, but simply because we don’t really know how to turn our emotions into words. Thus, to sum it up I fold my hands and pray that may her soul rest in peace,” concluded Ayush.
Surekha Sikri breathed her last earlier this morning due to cardiac arrest. She was surrounded by her family during her last moments.
