2’ begins from where the first installment ended; and thus, features the story after Guddi (Simi Chahal) and Manjinder (Tarsem Jassar) get married. Right from the time when Guddi enters her in-laws' house, the celebrations kick start. Thereafter, Guddi tires to mingle with her new family and adjusts to the new lifestyle, while Manjinder keeps her connected with her roots and tells her that she doesn’t have to change as he likes her the way she is. Things keep on going the smooth way until Manjinder’s father in the influence of power creates a scene in the village. Seeing this Manjinder leaves his family and house with Guddi so as to make his father understand that materialistic pleasures can never overshadow human virtues.
