World Earth Day today. The day which makes us realize the importance of our Mother Earth and the need to protect our environment. It's high time that we all start addressing climate change and take necessary actions towards it.
We roped in
Mahira Sharma to know about her views on the depleting situation of the environment. The actress said, "I feel we are the reasons behind this. We have taken our environment for granted because of which we are facing such erratic climate changes"
She furthermore suggested some preventive measures through which we can preserve our environment.
Mahira
said, "I think we all should assimilate and contribute our bit by participating in tree plantation drives, clean-up drives, and all the initiatives that are taken for conserving our environment. Also, we should strictly adhere to all the rules related to conservation of our environment"
Lastly, the actress shared how her fans started a tree plantation drive. " I remember last year how my fans came together and started a tree plantation drive to make me and the environment happy. They did something which was very positive and it was indeed a need of the hour. I am very thankful to them for the same" she expressed.
