Veteran Punjabi actor Daljeet Kaur Khangura passes away

The gloomy clouds are circling around the Punjabi cine world. Just a few days back the news of Punjabi actor-director Gurinder Dimpy’s demise left everyone in shock, and now reports have come out that even veteran Punjabi star Daljeet Kaur Khangura is no more.

The actress who has been known for her work in movies like ‘Putt Jattan De’, ‘Ki Banu Duniya Da’, ‘Sarpanch’ and more, breathed her last at the age of 69 years. Reports suggest she was unwell for quite some time before losing the battle of life. Further, her last rites were done at 12pm today.
Daljeet was one of the most famous faces of Pollywood. She took a break from acting after she lost her husband Harminder Singh Deol in a tragic road accident. After several years, in 2001, she decided to step back into the industry, and it didn’t take long before she again turned everyone’s favourite with her work.
