This Day That Year: Ammy Virk won the internet with THIS clip from ‘Harjeeta’

Ammy Virk who is mostly known for doing commercial movies and rom-coms, in 2018 did a real life based sports drama ‘Harjeeta’. With this movie, Ammy Virk brought the real life journey of Indian hockey player Harjeet Singh Tuli on the reel. Though the movie came out on May 18, just 10 days before that i.e. on May 8th 2018 Ammy Virk shared a small clip on his social media handle.

Written by Jagdeep Sidhu and directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, ‘Harjeeta’ won the National Film Award in 2019. When the movie was initially released, the box office numbers were not so good. However, the efforts were finally paid off when the movie got recognition on a national platform. Sameep Singh who made his debut as a child artist with this movie also won the award.
