Tarsem Jassar and Simi Chahal’s ‘Rabb Da Radio 3 ’ to release in March 2023

The #10YearsChallenge is the new rage on social media. Even the stars haven’t been spared by the type of madness the challenge has created. Thus, giving it to the social media’s new trend, Punjabi artists like Simi Chahal, Kavita Kaushik and more have taken the #10YearsChallenge and have posted their pictures of 2009 and 2019. Though ten years is quite a good time in which a person changes drastically, time seems to leave hardly an effect on Simi Chahal. Be it 2009 or 2019, Simi Chahal has been donning the same utter innocence.

Well certainly after stepping into the glam world, she did become all the more stylish, one can’t deny she has been a head turner always. Today she is one of the leading ladies of Pollywood and ten years ago, she was the diva of her college, honored as miss fresher.

Kavita Kaushik is one of the most active stars on social media; thus, she taking up the #10YearsChallenge didn’t come up as a surprise. However, what surprised as well as impressed the netizens was Kavita Kaushik’s caption on the picture, wherein she stated that how ten years ago she did everything to fit into the society and industry’s norms, and how now life has changed.

Her complete post read, “Oh yea I’ve changed n how in 10 years, I had no idea who I am, I wore unsuitable makeup cos that’s what was the norm on tv those days, I wore uncomfortable clothes to look stylish, behaved strange to fit in and all of this resulting in me living as another person and not myself.. but life is magic you see , it can wave its wand and change all that you knew n believed in ..therefore changing you ..because change is the only constant , change is good , realise n find your true self , find your truth .. and change ❤️🙏🏼”

The ‘Subedar Joginder Singh’ fame, Rajvir Jawanda also took the challenge and shared a picture of him from 2009 and 2019. Now his picture does show the time effect. In the 2009 picture, Rajvir Jawanda had little chubby cheeks covering his jawline and his turban style was different. Coming to 2019, one can see how the turban style has changed, and so has the jawline for sure. What remains constant over the years is his genuine smile.

Now, this picture somewhere shows the journey from fat to fab. Payal Rajput who presently is known for her perfect figure seems to have a few extra inches back in the days. However, she still looked really cute and beautiful. What else has changed over the years is the style game of the diva, and it’s needless to say it’s just on point right now.

Here’s another Punjabi diva who doesn’t seem to be playing by the rules of time. In the picture above, there’s a hardly a difference that one can spot in Sonia Mann’s current picture and the one from 2009. Perhaps a slight difference is there in the jawline, but nothing more than that we suppose. Can you spot it? Well, it appears that she was, she is and will always remain a timeless beauty of Punjabi entertainment industry.
