Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, aka
Sidhu Moose Wala, was shot dead in Jawaharke village, Mansa, Punjab. The last rites of the 28-year-old singer-actor were performed in his native village in the presence of his thousands of admirers. Further, the investigation of his murder case has been going on, and the police already have their first suspect in custody. However, reports suggest that there are more than a dozen assailants involved in this case on different, and the authorities are still on the lookout for them.
According to a TOI report, police have arrested a person who allegedly supplied one of the three vehicles used by the attackers. The cops are not giving out much information about their arrest, as they believe it might hamper the investigation.
“We are looking for who supplied the weapons and closely working to crack the case at the earliest. Police are also working on the angle of Gurlal Brar of Lawrance Bishnoi gang taking responsibility and also working on some other leads to solving the case,” said the inspector general of police P K Yadav.
Sidhu was travelling with two others when he was attacked by the assailants. According to the statements provided by the villagers, Sidhu’s car was surrounded from both sides and he was shot from point-blank.
And if we talk about the post-mortem report, then around 24 entry and exit bullet wounds have been found on the body. There were injuries to the internal organs including the liver and lungs. Further, reports also have that a bullet was also found in the skull of the singer.
Meanwhile, Sidhu Moose Wala’s family and fans are constantly asking for justice. As per a TOI report, Moose Wala’s fans Mohinder Singh and Joginder Singh said, “The family and fans of Sidhu Moose Wala are getting restive over police failing to arrest the accused. Police have miserably failed in identifying and tracing the attackers despite the fact that they under undertook the daring act in broad daylight under public glare on a road being frequented by people, yet police are clueless. We want the matter to be handed over to CBI and the investigation should be done under supervision of a sitting judge of the Punjab and Haryana high court as demanded by Sidhu Moose Wala’s father.”
The agony of the fans can be seen on social media as well. The pictures and videos of the late singer are being circulated across different social media platforms.
Though Moose Wala has gone from the mortal world, he will continue to live in each of his fan’s hearts for eternity.
