’. During the promotions of the same, Satinder
Sartaaj
reportedly said that in this span of 3 years, he read around 90 to 92 scripts.
The Punjabi Sufi-singer turn actor also added that since his debut film was a period drama, filmmakers thought he might like to do something on similar lines only. However, Sartaaj clarified that he wished to do contemporary cinema. He wanted to bring a character which is relatable to the youth; in whom the young generation gets to see a reflection of themselves. Thus, ‘Ikko Mikke’, a millennial love story.
Further, in the interview, Satinder Sartaaj also mentioned that since on both personal and professional front, he is mostly known for his quiet and calming personality, the makers of ‘Ikko Mikke’ and his co-star
Aditi Sharma was not sure how he would be doing the sequence of heated arguments. However, Satinder got so much into his character as Nihal that the scene that showed him arguing with Aditi didn’t turn out to be too hard.
Coming back to the movie ‘Ikko Mikke’. It is a tale of a modern day couple who are given a second chance to understand each other better and bring back the lost charm in their relationship. It is slated to be released on March 13.
