‘Sardaar Ji 3’ teaser: Diljit Dosanjh returns as ghostbuster; Promises laughter and action

Fans of Punjabi cinema are in for a treat as Diljit Dosanjh dropped the much-anticipated teaser of 'Sardaar Ji 3', which marks his return as the beloved ghostbuster.



The teaser, which was released on the last da,y has already created buzz with its mix of slapstick comedy, supernatural twists, and high-octane action.

About the teaser


Directed by Amar Hundal,' Sardaar Ji 3' sees Diljit reprising his fan-favourite role, this time on a ghostbusting mission in the United Kingdom. The teaser begins with armed forces storming a haunted castle, only to be swiftly defeated by an unseen spirit. Left with no choice, the mansion’s owner calls in the quirky ghost hunter—Sardaar Ji himself.




UK haunting and witches with a to-do list


The teaser is packed with moments that showcase the film’s signature humour. As soon as Diljit arrives at the haunted site, his interaction with a trio of in-house witches kick starts the fun mood of this horror comedy flick.


The witches, rather than demanding help or tools for the ghost, amusingly ask for a medical kit, a make-up box, and other odd essentials.


In the closing scene, Diljit is seen facing off against the ghost, delivering a witty one-liner that goes, “Tere naal fight is karke karni aa, kyunki tussi ‘Sardaar’ kehke ‘Jii’ nahi lagaya!”

(“I want to fight you because you addressed me as ‘Sardaar’ without adding ‘Jii’!”)

Franchise legacy and release date

Joining Diljit in this laugh riot are Neeru Bajwa, Manav Vij, Gulshan Grover, Jasmin Bajwa, and Sapna Pabbi. The film is slated to hit theatres on June 27.


'Sardaar Ji 3' continues the legacy of one of Punjabi cinema’s most successful horror-comedy franchises. The original film, directed by Rohit Jugraj in 2015, was a record-breaking release, followed by a sequel in 2016.


With this third instalment, the team promises a fresh, action-packed ride filled with laughter, supernatural chaos, and Diljit’s undeniable charm.
