Real-life couple Yuvraj Hans-Mansi Sharma to play girlfriend-boyfriend in Punjabi film

For the first time, the real-life jodi, Yuvraj Hans and Mansi Sharma, will share screen space in a Punjabi film, planned to go on floors in the month of May. However, onscreen they will essay a role of girlfriend and boyfriend. Confirming this Yuvraj said, “Yes. When the script was narrated to us, I was thrilled. For me it’s not difficult to play Mansi’s guy, for we have always maintained our relation on those lines, even though we got hitched.
Mansi added, “I am looking forward to it.It will be like going back to the days when we started to date.” The buzz is that another prominent Punjabi film director has approached the couple to sign them as lead pair. However, for the planned untitled project, sources say, will have Manbhavan as the director. “The shooting will take place in Jalandhar and Amritsar.”
For Mansi, it’s not difficult, for she’s a Punjabi and is fluent in the language. “I have already worked in a Punjabi film,” added Mansi. Also, we hear considering the couple’s off-screen chemistry and popularity among fans, the filmmakers are looking to create the same magic on silver screen. The duo has earned recognition for their style.
