Rani Chatterjee to venture into Punjabi cinema?

After gaining huge success in the

Bhojpuri

film industry, Rani Chatterjee is all set to spread her charm in other languages too. The actress will apparently debut with

Punjabi

film ‘Aasra’.

According to our sources, the cast and crew visited

Darbar Sahib

in Amritsar on Sunday and thereafter, began the shooting of the film. Rani Chatterjee understands the language barrier and she is determined to overcome all the hurdles.

Rani is a well-established name in Bhojpuri cinema. She started her career 15 years back and has worked in over 250 Bhojpuri movies. Her work has been highly appreciated by the audience and the actress also has several awards in her credit.

Directed by Rajkumar, ‘Aasra’ will also feature popular actors Guggu Gill and Tinu Verma in pivotal roles.
