Rakshabandhan Exclusive! Punjabi celebs open about one thing that they love, hate and tolerate about their siblings

Siblings, you can’t bear them and you can’t even live without them, and the day of Rakshabandhan is meant to celebrate this very bond. So, on this occasion, ETimes had a candid conversation with Punjabi celebrities and asked them what is that one thing that they love, hate and tolerate about their siblings. Wish to know what they said? Scroll down.

Rubina Bajwa

Rubina Bajwa was the youngest in the family until her baby brother Suhail Bajwa came home. Talking about him, Rubina said, “I love my brother so much. Words can’t describe. He is my everything. I always want the best for him. And, I don’t hate anything, but maybe when he doesn’t share his French fries with me!! I tolerate his music, we have very different taste in music.”

Monica Gill

Monica Gill keeps sharing pictures of her with her brother Jasneil, and the two are absolute sibling goals. Speaking to ETimes about him, Monica said, “So my brother Jasneil is an absolute ANGEL! I love how dutiful is towards all his responsibilities! I admire him for his work ethic! However, I hate that sometimes he doesn’t have time for me and now that he’s no longer a baby he has his own life. I tolerate the fact that I have to share his love with other family members. But I wish him a long, healthy, wealthy, and prosperous life!”

Babbal Rai

For those who don’t know, Babbal Rai has a younger brother. He doesn’t speak much about him in public as the artist wants to keep his professional and personal life different. However, when in a candid conversation with ETimes, Babbal Rai spilled beans on the one thing he loves, hates and tolerates about his baby brother. “Bada hi sao banda hai, he is very simple, naive and innocent and this is what I love about him. He never does anything without asking me and he always maintains the decrom of our relationship; he gives me the respect that a big brother deserves.” “Now coming to the one thing that I hate about him, bada hi sao banda hai” he said laughing. “I love the fact that he is simple but considering the outside world, he is too naive to survive. So he should not be this innocent. And as far as tolerating is concerned, I think he only tolerates me, as he is just not the person who can bother anyone with anything.”

Gurpreet Ghuggi

Gurpreet Ghuggi is blessed with not one but two brothers. His elder brother, Gurjasbir Singh, works as the assistant commandant in Railway protection force, and his younger brother, Gurbir Singh, is inspector police. Talking about the one thing that the actor loves, hates and tolerates about them, Gurpreet said, “I love the fact that even today when we three meet, the love and the bond that we share is still very pure and untouched. It is the same that we had when we were eight to ten years old kids. One thing that I hate about them is when they hide their trouble from me. I really get annoyed when they keep their problems to themselves. And last, what I tolerate is their ignorance at times. I don’t really like it when they don’t call or talk to me for a couple of days in stretch, but then I give them a call thinking it’s ok they are my brothers only, I should take the initiative.”

Jagdeep Sidhu

Jagdeep Sidhu has a younger sister who loves him like anything and the feeling is indeed mutual. But there are also things that the ‘Qismat’ director hates and tolerates about her, as the sibling bond is all about the love-hate relationship. “I love the fact that the joy of my success is more felt and celebrated by her than by me. Before me she knows which paper has my article, which channel has my interview, it’s like my success is the ultimate happiness for her. Coming to the thing that I hate about her, well at times she turns really rigid. Garaari adh gayi tan adh gayi, then she will not listen to what you have to say. Now coming to the thing that I tolerate just because she is my baby sister is that she tells me things that I already know. Obviously, she has my good in her mind, but all the childish stuff like be sure you don’t say anything controversial, or you don’t comment like this or that on social media; these are all juvenile things that I know, but she will still tell them to me and I listen to her so that it brings a smile on her face”, said Jagdeep Sidhu.
