The president of DSGMC, Manjinder Singh Sirsa has requested Prakash Javedkar, the minister of Information & Broadcast and Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal to exempt entertainment tax for Gippy Grewal directorial ‘Ardaas Karaan’.

Manjinder Singh believes that the movie has a very beautiful and strong message that needs to be reached to the masses, and thus, he has asked the officials for exempting the entertainment tax from it.
Taking to his social media handle, Manjiner has shared a copy of his request letter, and along with it, he wrote, “Requesting @PrakashJavdekar Ji for exempting the movie

'ARDAAS KARAAN'

directed by @igippygrewal from ENTERTAINMENT TAX in India as it conveys a beautiful and positive social message to the viewers and is particularly must-watch type movie for the young generation”.


Thereafter, he sent another request letter on the same lines to Arvind Kejrival and wrote, “Requesting @ArvindKejriwal Ji for exempting the movie 'ARDAAS KARAAN' directed by @igippygrewal from ENTERTAINMENT TAX in Delhi as it conveys a beautiful and positive social message to the viewers and promotes a positive social outlook ”


Director and producer of ‘Ardaas Karaan’, Gippy Grewal was overwhelmed by the gesture. And taking to his tweeter, the artist wrote, “Bhaji Thank you so much ”

Talking of ‘Ardaas Karaan’, released on July 19, the movie is from the genre of content rich cinema. The story of the movie has been woven in such a way that it gives the message narrating the importance of life and how every moment of it should be lived to the maximum.
