Amidst the whirlwind of promotions for her latest romantic movie, ‘Shayar’ with Satinder Sartaaj, Neeru Bajwa enjoyed a candid conversation with ETimes. The Pollywood queen who is known for her acting prowess and production skills, delved into the complexities of the industry, particularly the issue of box office number manipulation in Pollywood.
Neeru Bajwa offered insights into the prevailing practices within the industry, acknowledging the existence of manipulation and misguidance. "Each to its own. 'Ab me kuch kahungi to kisi ko bura lagega'(if I say something, then someone will feel bad). People use the strategy the way they like," she remarked.
Despite the prevalence of such practices, Bajwa emphasized her commitment to integrity and honesty. "All I would like to say is that honestly, we don't do it," she affirmed.
Moreover, Neeru Bajwa shared her experience of working with Satinder Sartaaj in ‘Shayar,’ highlighting the ease and chemistry that permeated their collaboration. "Everything flowed very organically and beautifully," she expressed.
"I think it would have been tough if we didn't share that chemistry, and this being such a romantic film, if I didn't like him or he didn't like me, then things would have been different. It is so easy working with each other. Our entire team is so amazing."
The actress highlighted that through ‘Shayar’ they are also trying to delve deeper into the equation of Rabia and Deedar, their characters from their last collaboration ‘Kali Jotta.’ The rest will be unveiled once the movie is released on April 19, 2024.
