Writer-director Jagdeep Sidhu, who is working on various

Bollywood

projects besides big-budget Punjabi films, focusses too much on good music/songs for his projects. The

Qismat

fame filmmaker, who also wrote

Harjeeta

, feels music is the backbone of any film, and if the song lineup is not good it will be like a poetry without the punch.
"All your efforts will go waste then," he said, adding, "It (

good music

) not only enhances the film moments, but also brings out right flavour. For me music is equally important, like a script. There have been times when I had several discussions over film's music."

The prolific writer, who did Hindi film Saand Ki Aankh, likes to balance films to give viewers a great combination of music and hard-hitting script. Also, he admires B Praak and Jaani's work, for they are very passionate about what they do. "I love their ideas. They are great." Sidhu had said that films like Qismat and other hits were impossible had they (B Praak-Jaani) not been there. "That's true," he added.
