The six-foot-four-inch tall actor
Vikramjeet Virk, who worked extensively in south Indian cinema and TV serials, is entering the Punjabi cinema with
Gippy Grewal starrer Ik Sandhu Hunda Si. Though his entry to the Punjabi film world is happening after more than six years of his established career, Virk is elated. He's late, he feels, but is happy at the same time.
The actor with strapping built and chiselled looks is essaying a significant role in the film.
"Punjabi meri maa boli hai. I was looking for a good opportunity to enter Punjabi films. And when I was offered a role in ISHS, I immediately said yes. There are two more offers in the pipeline. You will now see me more in Punjab," said Virk, who did one Chinese film apart from various Malayalam and Telugu flicks.
The DU passout, Virk moved to Delhi to study fashion. "Later, I went to Mumbai and that's how my journey started," he said. He was always keen to be a ramp model.
