As a Diwali gift,
Gippy Grewal first released the poster look of his highly anticipated movie ‘
Manje Bistre
2’, and now he has presented the pre-teaser of the same. Coming from the genre of romantic comedy, the movie will be making it to the box office next year on April 12.
The pre-teaser unfolds with two government officials visiting a village, only to find that almost the entire place is vacant. Later the officials come to know that everyone has gone to
Canada
for collecting ‘Manje Bistre’. The teaser then takes you straight to the land of Canada, where Gippy Grewal with his bunch of buddies performs the years old tradition of collecting majne bistre (quilts and bedstead) for a marriage. The Punjabi gabru seems untouched by the urbanization of Canada, and appears to enjoy every bit of his stay there.

Starring Gippy Grewal and
Simi Chahal in the lead, ‘Manje Bistre 2’ is the second installment of 2017 released ‘Manje Bistre’. Since the pre-teaser doesn’t give us even a glimpse of the female lead, it appears the makers have something grand planned for her introduction. This is the first time Gippy Grewal and Simi Chahal will be seen together on the big screen.
