After giving one hit after another, like ‘Honsla Rakh’, ‘Saunkan Saunkane’, and more, director Amarjit Singh Saron is ready to helm another big-budget Punjabi movie. He has donned the cap of director for the period drama ‘ Jugni 1907’, featuring Ammy Virk and Karamjit Anmol in the lead. Based on true historic events, the movie has been written by Jass Grewal.
According to Amarjit, the production value and treatment of ‘Jugni 1907’ are going to be in line with global standards and may set a new benchmark in Punjabi cinema pushing its boundaries to a whole new level.
The motion poster of the movie is out, and the film is slated to release on May 10, 2024.
While announcing the film, director Amarjit Singh Saron also said, "It's both a privilege and a challenge to work on a film based on historical events. So, I am really excited about Jugni 1907. I hope that through this film, we shall be able to provide our Punjabi cinema lovers with a really special and unforgettable cinematic experience."
