for two months due to coronavirus, is working on a couple of scripts for next Punjabi films from

Canada

. The director of

Ardaas Karaan

, Mirza The Untold Story, etc, who has another project Maa being stalled is keen to complete them soon. "The work in this regard started in Mohali when I was staying there during the shutdown. These stories were pending for more than five years. In fact one of it is done. This one will be based in Punjab but will be a multi-lingual project.” Deo is keen to return to India and is keeping a close watch on the virus situation. Sources said soon after completing Maa, which has Divya Dutta and Babba Rai in lead, he will get on with another project.
