After ‘Sikander 2’ and ‘Jatt Brothers’, Guri is back to entertain his fans with his new movie ‘Lover’. It is a musical romantic drama, for which Guri is super excited. Talking about the film, Guri said, " ‘Lover’ isn’t an ordinary love story but something unique.”
“Also, you’ll get to see the depth of all characters as the effort made by all actors is appreciable. The character Laali is just an ordinary guy born into a middle-class family. His father is giving his best to make him complete his education so he can earn well. He is passionate, a great friend, a good bathroom singer, and more of them he is a great Lover. The pain growing within Laali (my character) is immense," added Guri.
Further, the actor also shared his experience of reuniting with the makers of ‘Jatt Brothers’. He said, “After ‘Jatt Brothers’ one thing was very clear that he(Kv Dhillon) was really impressed with us. So he came across a great romantic story and decided to go with me.”
“I'm really grateful and I have put in my whole mind soul and body to justify the character of the movie ‘Lover’," concluded Guri as he hoped for the movie to strike a chord with the audience.
Alongside Guri, the movie stars Ronak Joshi as the female lead. It has been helmed by directors Khushpal Singh and Dilsher Singh and is all set to be released on July 1, 2022.
