After 'Paani Ch Madhaani', which is currently under production and has started shooting in London,
Gippy Grewal has announced a
second film
with
Neeru Bajwa. Titled, '
Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi
', the film, which will release in 2021, was announced by Gippy recently through the launch of its poster. To be directed by
Maneesh Bhatt, the film's
music

Besides these two films, Gippy has announced two more films for 2021- 'Manje Bistre 3' and 'Maa'. The lead pair, Neeru and Gippy had first acted together in ‘Mel Karade Rabba’ and ‘Jihne Mera Dil Lutteya’ in 2000, and since then did not have the opportunity of being paired again on screen.
While Neeru had been living with her husband in Canada since last year when she became a mother again (this time to twin daughters), Gippy was in India with his wife and three sons. The actors spent the lockdown with their respective families, bonding with them like never before. In August end, both actors left their countries of residence and began travelling to start shooting for '
Paani Ch Madaani
'. While Neeru travelled from Canada to London, Gippy travelled from India to Canada.
With cinemas resuming screening of films, Gippy's film, 'Carry On Jatta 2' is also re-releasing, along with other hit Punjabi films of 2019.
Sources had told us that the last leg of 'Paani Ch Madhaani' will be shot in India, for which both Neeru and Gippy will return here.
